Conservation is a process!

I had a chance to sit down with our 2015 Conservation Farmer of the Year this week. (We will announce who won the award this year at a later date, stay tuned!)  When Sue and I announced that he was nominated, he admitted that there was still things that he needed to accomplish and that he didn’t feel like he was “there” yet.  We discussed that conservation happens in baby steps.

Admittedly, some “baby steps” aren’t so small, like the decision to completely change your entire system to no-till, but you are never finished conserving.  So what is your next “baby step” in your conservation practices and how can we help get you there?
